Appeal following incident on a bus in St Albans |

Officers are appealing for witnesses after an incident occurred on a bus in St Albans.
At around 5.30pm on Wednesday 18 May, the number 301 bus was driving through St Peters Sq, when the offender reportedly spat at the bus driver and headbutted the cabin window.
Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any injuries.
The offender is described as being a white man, aged approximately in his 50s, carrying a clear plastic bag with items inside.
Detective Constable Adam Stout who is investigating said: “I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on this 301 Arriva bus service through St Albans and witnessed the incident occur, to contact me.
I also want to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident happen from a nearby bus stop. I can be contacted via adam.stout@herts.police.uk, quoting crime reference 41/45468/25.
